Dianne Stewart is an award-winning author who has published many highly acclaimed children's books locally and internationally, including African Myths and Legends (co-authored with Jay Heale) and The Zebra's Stripes and other African Animal Tales. She has degrees in African Languages, Literature and Anthropology, providing her with an excellent pool of knowledge from which to draw for her research into African folklore and mythology. Many of her books have been translated into various European, African and Eastern languages.
