A survey of E-Prescription readiness in selected Nigeria Hospitals
This project aims to survey electronic prescription readiness in Nigeria hospitals to know whether they are ready for electronic prescription or not. Electronic prescribing or e-prescribing is a computer-based electronic generation and transmission of a prescription. Prescribing systems help to increase patient safety and increase prescribing accuracy, the system also helps to reduce costs through improved legibility. The motivation for e-prescribing lies in the greater safety of drug use and the current unacceptable levels of adverse drug events.
