Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-1894), the Scottish-born, world-renowned poet and novelist, is best known for Treasure Island but has written countless books for children and adults including A Child's Garden of Verses and A Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.John Lawrence is the author-illustrator of This Little Chick, a New York Times Book Review Best Illustrated Children's Book of the Year. He also illustrated Tiny's Big Adventure by Martin Waddell and Sea Horse: The Shyest Fish in the Sea by Chris Butterworth. He lives in Cambridge, England.
