Über den Autor


JULIAN BROWN is Associate Professor of Political Studies at the University of the Witwatersrand. He is author of The Road to Soweto: Resistance and the Uprising of 16 June 1976 (James Currey, 2016) and South Africa's Insurgent Citizens: On Dissent and the Possibility of Politics (2015). He holds a Friedel Sellschop Award for exceptional young researchers from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Senior Visiting Research Fellowship at the Max Planck Center on Coping with Instability in Market Societies at Sciences Po, Paris.
